Leyah Rose is a Jewish/Armenian actress based in NYC and Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Boston, MA and then went on to received her BA in Theater from Temple University and her MFA in Acting at University of Essex, East 15 in London. While in England receiving classical and contemporary British Training, she developed her love for accents and dialects, and she had the spectacular opportunity to perform on Shakespeare's Globe Stage as Bassanio in the Merchant of Venice. Most recently Leyah is set to appear in two upcoming films, 825 Forrest Road, and Willa.
Leyah is passionate about telling stories on the stage and screen, and works with urgency and diligence on projects. She is inspired by actors creating characters with a rich inner life, especially in independent features. She believes in the importance of play when acting, and lives by the motto of not taking herself too seriously, but taking the work seriously.
In her spare time you can find Leyah taking long walks with an audiobook, writing, drawing or painting, and putting together outfits for an at home photo shoot.
